What is Golden Shallot and how does it work?

Golden Shallot is an Authentic Asian ready-to-cook meal kits company that delivers pre-portioned ingredients, providing the Asian cooking experience in American households. You choose from our diverse menu, and we do all the prep work. Simply select your delivery method and everything will be freshly prepared for you to cook.

What comes inside my order?

Your Golden Shallot box is built with insulations and cold packs to keep all your ingredients and meals fresh.

Each meal kit comes pre-packed with the necessary ingredients for each meal you order.

Detailed written instructions are included in the packaging however additional video instructions are available online.

How should I store my meal kits?

Our boxes are built with insulations and cold packs to keep all your ingredients and meals fresh.

Once you've received your order, promptly store all meal kits in the refrigerator.

Soup Broths can retain freshness up to 10 months when frozen.

Sauces can retain freshness up to 1 year.

How long do your ingredients stay fresh for?

Our meal kits are safe to consume within 7 days from the delivery date, when refrigerated .

Given the freshness of our meal kits' ingredients, fresh vegetables remain viable for 3 days, while protein stays optimal for 5 days.

If you don't have time to consume everything by the best by date, we suggest cooking the ingredients and storing them.

Please note:

Can I freeze my meal kits?

Technically yes, but we strongly advise against it since our goal is to provide you with the freshest meal possible.

Please Note: Freezing may affect the flavour and texture.

Where can I find the nutritional information for a meal?

Nutrition facts for each product are listed on the product's menu page.

Where can I find allergen information?

Allergen details are clearly stated on the menu page and packaging of each item.

Please note: there is still a small chance of cross contamination in our facilities. We can not guarantee with our meals are completely allergen free.

Do you have video instructions?

All video instructions will be shown on the product's page and our YouTube channel.

To view video instructions, please scan the QR code on the meal kit's packaging.

Written instructions are also included inside the packaging.

Can I purchase gift cards?

Absolutely, gift cards are available for purchased on our website and can be redeemed both online and in person.

Delivery FAQs

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Absolutely! We understand that sometimes things change and your order has to be modified. All modification and order cancelation must be submitted within 2 hours from the time your order was placed.

To modify your order, please email us at info@goldenshallot.com. An email from our team will be sent once the order has been updated.

Please Note: Once the order is processed and fulfilled, modifications are not possible. We strive to fulfill your request to the best of our ability.

Can I pick-up my order?

Of course! All orders can be pickup at our local pickup location.

Do you deliver to my area?

At this time, we are only doing deliveries within Zone 1 & 2 of the Fedex Shipping Map. 

We are located in Norcross, GA 30093 and orders can be delivered within a 300 miles radius.

Will my package stay fresh during transit?

Yes, all Golden Shallot boxes are designed to be insulated with ice packs inside. The ice packs will melt slowly throughout the delivery ensuring your food is kept at a safe temperature. 

Please refrigerated all meals as soon as possible to obtain freshness.

When are orders delivered?

Since our processing time is 1-2 business days, there are NO orders shipped out on the weekend. If you are in Zone 1, please place your order no later than 12 pm Thursday. If you are in Zone 2, please place your order no later than 12 pm Wednesday.

If orders are shipping out on:

  • Monday they will arrive Tuesday (zone 1) or Wednesday (zone 2)
  • Tuesday they will arrive Wednesday (zone 1) or Thursday (zone 2)
  • Wednesday they will arrive Thursday (zone 1) or Friday (zone 2)
  • Thursday they will arrive Friday (zone 1) or Saturday (zone 2)
  • Friday they will arrive Saturday (zone 1). No orders will be shipped out on Friday for zone 2

How soon can I expect my order?

Orders usually take 1-2 business days to process. Depending on your location, delivery can be expected within 1-2 business days.

How do I track my order?

You can track your order via the email notification you received when your order was shipped. A tracking link & number should be provided.

If you are unable to locate your tracking details, please email us at info@goldenshallot.com with your order number.

What if I'm not home at the time of delivery?

If you are not home while your box is being delivered, no worries; your delivery carrier will leave it at a secure location by your doorstep.

Our boxes are built with insulations and cold packs to keep all your ingredents and meals fresh.

Please Note: If your order is being delivered to a communal space, like an apartment or office building, please provide specific delivery directions.

What should I do if my order is damaged ?

We apologize in advance that you've received your order damaged.

If you receive the box with external damage, please do not reject the package itself. Please carefully examine the products inside.

In the event the products inside are damaged and suspected to have been tampered with, please take some photos and reach out to our customer service team at info@goldenshallot.com.

We will promptly address any issues with your meals.

What do I do if my delivery is late?

Your Golden Shallot order should arrive within 1-2 days after the order has been shipped.

All Items are guaranteed to arrive cold and fresh to your door. Should they not be cold upon arrival or if you feel uneasy preparing them, please reach out to us at info@golenshallot.com.

In the event of a delay exceeding one day, kindly reach out to us with your order number.

What happens if my order never arrived?

In the case your order doesn't show up on time, please check the carrier, the status with your provided tracking number.

If your order shows as delivered but you have not received it, please email us at info@goldenshallot.com with your order number as soon as possible and we will respond to you within 24 hours.
